Olinda Ridge Wins 2 Gold Medals at the International Restaurant Show
Winning olive oils to be used at the 9th Annual Culinary ChallengeOlinda Ridge™ Olive Company was awarded gold medals for both its Olinda Ridge™ Estate Organic and Olinda Ridge™ Late Harvest Gold extra virgin olive oils at the 2008 International Restaurant Show in Las Vegas olive oil competition, sponsored by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC). The Council is dedicated to promoting fresh, quality extra virgin olive oils made in California. Through their Seal Certification program, they help everyone from home chefs to restaurants find guaranteed extra virgin olive oils for their kitchens. These award-winning olive oils will be used by top chefs in a two-day culinary challenge held at the 2008 International Restaurant Show, and will also be in the running for best in show. Gold-medal winning olive oils will be available for tasting at the COOC booth #1420 during the show at the Las Vegas Convention Center on February 26-27. The acknowledgement from the Las Vegas International Restaurant Show has shown that Olinda Ridge™ extra virgin olive oils are the type of high quality and fresh product desired by top chefs.
